A Post Apocolyptic World

I'm currently doing a trend forecasting project, so this is a small glimpse of some of my work so far. I've been looking at survival and extinction in an apocolyptic environment. I drew my inspiration from a book called 'The Ancestor's Tale' by Richard Dawkins. In one section he talks about how, if a nuclear war were to destroy the world and rats survived, how would they evolve and could they become a species similar to humans today. He says, 'Given enough time, will a species of intelligent, cultivated rats emerge?' Which could then even lead on to 'rodent historians and scientists' that unearth the history of our past.

It's been an amazing projects so far, i've been researching into bone structures and fossils and contrasting it with what could survive, such as insects, rats, beetles and buildings that have been torn apart but are still standing. From this i'm looking into distressed clothing and experimenting with partly destroying things and reworking them. I'm just getting onto the designing process so will keep you posted with the progress!
